Professional consulting draws from a complex combination of technical, professional and interpersonal skills, personal discipline, social values and work experience.

This means that there are as many Corporate Consultants that will succeed because of their academic capabilities, as there are that will succeed because of their people skills, practical understanding of business or their passion for results in what they do.

We are interested in all these and more, though it is also true to say that some of these are more easily formed and developed than others at different stages of life.

You will ordinarily join ARTEMIS Transition Partners as a student on vacation, as a new hire on Associate internship, or as an experienced advisory professional.

We regularly offer student internships and vacation attachments to qualifying university students for periods of between three and six months.

Persons applying for Student Internships and Vacation Attachments will normally be looking to get some work experience, do something useful with their time and hopefully learn something that will make a difference in their future working life.  This is normally not a paid engagement.

As a Student Intern at ARTEMIS Transition Partners, you will work on different tasks as assigned by your supervisor, which should give you a good sense of what we do, as well, perhaps, of what some of our clients do.

As an Associate Intern you will normally have just finished your university education and will be looking to enter the world of work.

You will not be expected to have worked elsewhere, and so work experience is not a requirement for this role.  Associate Internship at ARTEMIS Transition Partners is a paid, contractual, engagement for which a fitting stipend is offered for the first year, and suitable, performance-based remuneration given from the second year onwards.

Your associate internship will be a two-year programme structured around specific training and personal development objectives across the consulting and administrative functions we have in the firm.

At the end of your internship, a detailed performance review of the associate term will be undertaken, following which you will be attached to a specific area of the firm, and work under a Senior Consultant before you can take responsibility for other Associate Interns yourself in a year or so.

Once in a while, we will engage experienced professionals from both consulting and non-consulting backgrounds.

This will normally be necessitated by a special requirement that our clients may present, by our need to go into areas in which we may not have built enough capacity, or by the need to quickly replace capacity we may lose for whatever reason.

To join ARTEMIS Transition Partners as an experienced professional, you will have worked in a relevant field for at least five years after leaving university, and have been responsible for the performance of at least two other people, for a period not less than two years.


Except under especially unique circumstances, we regret we do not engage consultants on short-term assignments.  We strive to maintain stringent standards of quality and service delivery on all our assignments and this, in our experience, is only achieved through sustained engagement of the kind that employment of consultants on short-term assignments can simply not achieve.
